Floral Flush P07468-P00990 Set within 14k gold prongsA touch of early Spring excitement in the warming breeze. "Floral Flush" was created in the monotype technique, which means "one of a kind print". Thinning the oils and painting on smooth plexiglass allows the artist to combine the vibrancy of an oil painting with the flow and blend of a watercolor. There is a spontaneity and grace to this technique that I find in no other medium. As the brush quickly moves across the smooth surface it deposits the
