Germany, Luftwaffe. An EM/NCO’s Tropical Overseas Cap, Dutch-Made, by Kattenburg & Co. United Republic of 46 mm (w) x 29(Luftwaffe Tropen Schiffchen fr Mannschaften). An interesting Luftwaffe EM NCOs tropical overseas cap, constructed of khaki tan cotton cloth. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which slope toward the front. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a khaki tan cotton base bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, measuring 55 mm (w) x 32 mm (h).
